6+1 APPLE PICKING PHOTO IDEAS

A light and breezy autumnal article meant to smooth the wrinkles on your forehead, to inspire you, and bring joy to your hearts, just as a short walk through an orchard in Dambovita on a sunny day with wonderful people brought us.

Let’s get straight to it and illustrate below what you can do in an apple orchard (in full picking season) “photographically” speaking. Or best said, what we did, and what we hope we inspire you to do as well. Quickly, before all the apples get picked (we have 2 more full weeks of ripeness ahead of us :))

1. A CLASSIC: I know, probably redundant, and perhaps annoyingly common, but… it’s cute, you can’t help it 🙂 Pick up 2 apples, put them in front of your eyes, and don’t mind anyone else 🙂

!HINT: if you have some Photoshop skills, you can make the apples bigger for eyes to… envy 🙂

2. Since we brought up Photoshop, you can do something like this. Your imagination can roam freely: you can climb a giant apple, 2 giant apples, or more. Make sure to come prepared with a plan: get a chain to stand on to replace it with the apple when editing. Prepare something big to hold in your hands so that you can edit it afterward… You get the point 🙂

3. I admit that I had a classic basket with me and I saw myself picking apples and exploiting it to the max, but the suitcase seduced me so I used it as follows:

4. Get some funny boots (you’d need them anyway because you never know what kind of mud you’ll come across) and play with them. Now I regret not focusing more on them, I think something cool might’ve come out of it.

5. Don’t forget to lift your gaze to the real stars of the orchard:

6. If you have a wide lens with you or a phone with this feature, it wouldn’t hurt to ask your companion to climb on a chair or a ladder and get their sweat on for art’s sake. Tell them I said it’s worth it :))
